We are pleased to announce the IMTEX FORMING 2014 – Metal & Non-Metal (Plastics and Composites) International Forming Technology Exhibition at Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bangalore, India. IMTEX FORMING series is the largest exhibition of forming manufacturing technologies in South and South-East Asia.
IMTEX FORMING 2014 will exclusively show case the latest forming technologies not only for metals but also for plastics and other engineering materials like Composites and Ceramics which find wide application in engineering products.
Concurrent with IMTEX FORMING 2014 IMTMA is also organising Tooltech 2014 international exhibition on Dies & Moulds, Forming Tools, Machine Accessories, Metrology & CAD /CAM.
Each of these shows will present the latest machinery, equipment, processes, tools, accessories, software and raw materials and feed stocks required by manufacturers to produce formed parts.
The previous edition of IMTEX FORMING 2012 held from 19 – 24 January 2012 received an exhilarating success with a growth of about 40 % in every aspect when compared to its earlier edition. The show was spread over 30,000 square meters of gross area with participation from 514 companies representing a total of 24 countries, including 3 country-groups from Republic of China, Germany and Taiwan. Other major overseas countries represented at the exhibition included Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Holland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and USA.
The exhibition was host to around 44,000 business visitors from all across the Indian manufacturing industry. Interaction with business visitors led to a virtual sell-out of all machines displayed at the exhibition and further generated serious business enquiries to the tune of Rs. 12 billion.
Expectations are high about an upbeat investment environment in India around the time when IMTEX FORMING 2014 and Tooltech 2014 are scheduled. Indian economy and its industry are poised to take India to a new league at the global level in 2014. This in turn spells very high opportunities for machine tools and manufacturing solutions industry.
